Sanya International Yachting Seminar and Official Launch of the Association Successfully Held

During the 2026 China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) Sanya Boat Festival, the “Sanya International Yachting Industry Seminar and the Official Launch of the Sanya Yacht Import & Export Trade Association” was successfully held at Sanya International Yacht Center.

The event brought together industry representatives, design studios, shipyards, and technical service providers from China, Thailand, and Europe. Discussions focused on global market trends, the evolution of China’s yacht manufacturing sector, and key challenges in international expansion, particularly in aftersales, compliance, and service infrastructure.

A clear message emerged from the seminar: China’s yachting industry is transitioning from product export to a more comprehensive system-based global approach. In this context, aftersales networks, localized services, insurance frameworks, and cross-border compliance are becoming essential enablers of sustainable international growth.

The official launch of the Association also signals Sanya’s evolving role—from a showcase and transaction platform to an industry organization and service hub. Moving forward, the Association aims to facilitate international collaboration, improve industry coordination, and support Chinese yacht brands in their global expansion efforts.
